Week of: March 27, 2017

Kindergarten - Students will be practicing locating letters on the keyboard.  We will be using the website Tots Typing.

First Grade - Students are working on listening to a story from storylineonline.com.  Then, they must open Google Docs, open a saved document and type an answer to a question.

Second Grade - Students are working on listening to a story from storylineonline.com.  Then, they must open Google Docs, open a saved document and type an answer to a question.

Third Grade - Students are starting to learn about Google Slides (how to use it and what it's used for).

Fourth Grade - Students are starting their "Hero Project".  We will be looking up the definition of a Hero and discussing who a Hero could be.  Over the next couple classes the students will be typing papers(Google Docs) about their Hero and sharing them with the class.

Fifth Grade - Students are beginning to learn about the tools in Google Slides.  Students will need to use these tools in order to complete a fictional story and present it to the class.

Sixth Grade - Students are working on a research project in Google Slides.  The project is a group assignment with 13 slides, including a works cited slide and will  be presented to the class upon completion. 

Week of: February 21, 2017

Kindergarten - Students will be practicing locating letters on the keyboard by using a website called tots typing

First Grade - Students are working on typing questions and statements in google docs, using correct formatting

Second Grade - Students are working on typing questions and statements in google docs, using correct formatting

Third Grade - Students are working on searching the internet for answers to questions on their webquest ( questions 1 - 3)

Fourth Grade - Students are working on searching the internet for answers to questions on their webquest ( questions 1 - 3)

Fifth Grade - Students are working on searching the internet for answers to questions on their webquest ( questions 1 - 3).  Students will need to cite information using the citation machine and the citing tool inside of Google Docs when finding their answers

Sixth Grade - Students are finishing their "Walmart Wishlist".  This will be the last class for students to find at least five items and spend as close to five hundred dollars as possible.  Test Next class on calculating, sorting and graphing information

Week of: February 6th, 2017

Kindergarten - Students will be practicing navigating around NSE Spartans using the back arrow and "x" button to close out of tabs

First Grade - Students are working on typing questions and statements in google docs, using correct formatting

Second Grade - Students are working on typing questions and statements in google docs, using correct formatting

Third Grade - Students are working on using the tools in a web browser and practicing using key words to look up information on the world wide web

Fourth Grade - Students are working on using the tools in a web browser and practicing using key words to look up information on the world wide web

Fifth Grade - Students are working on using the tools in a web browser and practicing using key words to look up information on the world wide web, while citing the website they got their information from

Sixth Grade - Students are working on creating a Walmart wishlist in google sheets.  They will have to keep the total of their items under their budget and will have to use tools inside the spreadsheet to sort, calculate and graph their information
